Beaux & Arrow: Of Art and Fashion.

Kris Johnsen and Hannah Tarkinson have blurred the lines between art and fashion by creating Beaux & Arrow- a unique men’s and women’s jewelry & accessories line.

What happens when Johnsen works his screen printing magic onto leather and then hands it over to Tarkinson to slice and dice into jewelry and accessories? Follow along as they take this collaboration as far as they possibly can!

It’s been a few quiet months on the site, though we have been keeping busy making custom pins. With Summer coming back around, the project will be back in full swing, thanks in part to the help of a new addition to our team: recent MECA grad Jeff Hoffman. Look for updates here soon about some of our upcoming plans and new pin locations in the coming weeks. Until then, check out Kris’s new fashion line collaboration Beaux & Arrow, and Bryan’s upcoming HillyTown Presents curated events!

• The 2nd annual Picnic Holiday Sale – Dec 11, from noon to 8pm and Sunday, Dec 12, from noon to 5pm. This juried indie craft fair will be held indoors at the Maine Irish Heritage Center at 34 Gray Street and State Street. Admission is free.

We’ve just posted a revised template for you to submit your own Portland Pins designs on. Print out as many of the sheets as you like and leave the completed designs at one of our drop boxes in Portland!
